point is that money hasn't been SAVED, but has been BLOWN, by presidents of both parties, so, it's not like the MONEY's there

That is totally NOT the point and in fact, has nothing to do with "the point". If you had ever had a basic accounting course you would KNOW that. I've explained it to you no fewer than a dozen times and you still don't get it.

Maybe, just maybe, if you quit dropping acid and smoking dope for about a day, you would understand this crap.

The "point" is that there is an UNFUNDED LIABILITY amounting to some $12 Trillion. This is not money that was collected and spent but accrued liabilities that SHOULD be on the books but are not because the system conveniently uses the cash basis to account for the fund.

In fact, the money you think has been "blown" hasn't at all. For every nickel that has been "blown" the SS trust holds government debt which is interest bearing and is the way the fund invests its money and is totally appropriate.

That I've explained all this to you at least a dozen times and you still don't get it clearly indicates you've had a few hundred too many hits of Windowpane and have never quite come down from the last go around.
