March 26 (Reuters) - Canadian miner Lake Shore Gold Corp (LSG.TO) said it has started processing development ore at the Timmins Mine at its Bell Creek Mill.

The mine is expected to produce 30,000 ounces of gold in 2009 and 100,000 ounces in 2010.

Ore deliveries to the mill, which has a current capacity of 800 tonnes a day, will initially be limited and increase as the year progresses, the company said in a statement.

Shares of Lake Shore Gold were trading up 1 Canadian cent at C$1.29 Thursday morning on the Toronto Stock Exchange. (Reporting by R. Manikandan in Bangalore; Editing by Anne Pallivathuckal)
