In the twenties, they sought to control the center and threatened to threaten the opponent. When I was a kid you threatened to control (not occupy) the center and either parried a threatened threat, or just threatened to parry it. I can't play the game any more 'cause I just can't figure out what the hell these young people are doing! (this diatribe only threatens to be tangentially related to the topic) Do you know the C language? Is C++ worse?
