One of the biggest potheads in my High School is now a cop. Most cops probably realize what a waste the war on pot is.
We are wasting too much time and resources on this benign plant, and it really lessens respect for law enforcement when they have to bust people for something so benign. I know a lot of my negative feelings about cops growing up had to do with their harrassment of peaceful marijuana users. There are plenty of better ways for them to spend their time dealing with violent criminals.
