Maurice- Some Japanese Consortium just announced plans for the next generation wireless technology - "with pictures". Say goodbye to IDC's efforts Jim - or at least recognize that their is going to be a scramble for the Broadband Wireless that IDC and Siemens are trying to build. I don't know what kind of time lags they are talking about and am not sure what implications, if any,that there are for Qualcomm. Anyone want to speculate? Also any ideas when the fiscal year results for QCOM ending in Sept. will be announced? Don't retire Maurice - you are the sheriff on this thread and have kept us generally civil so far! I say good cops are allowed a bender considering good will and previous altercations avoided. Tom
