Because it's against the law to sell a gun to a Mexican You mean illegals? Mexican Americans, green card holders and some visa holders can purchase firearms all within the law. State provided ID is not fake - there in lies the issue - stop giving valid ID cards to illegals. Dealers are not setup to decide which ID is fake or real - and the BATF only checks the information provided. I would back national ID cards that can be demanded in places like gun stores - but only if illegals can't get them - do you?
