Regarding the statement that people only want to run one OS and the counter-statement that none are suitable.

The major issue Novell has with NetWare is that Microsoft can show a roadmap (which includes NDS) which shows how peple will be one day able to achieve what they want -- the running of one OS.

At this point Novell's answer to that is that they shouldn't want to run only one OS. And yet -- folks understand that the total cost of usage drives up dramatically as you increase your number of servers. Even if this weren't true (and it is) -- it's never a great sales tactic to explain to your entire customer base that they are stupid and shouldn't want what they are saying they want.

Regarding NetWare supporting more diverse clients than any other NOS. Unix advocates might argue with you on this one. But in any case, with NDS, Novell is going to fix this for Microsoft, right?
