Any Repubs who supported the wars... supported spending money on the wars. It's all well and good to be against spending, but I have yet to hear anyone approve of their own little pork barrel getting cut. For example, I was listening to PBS just awhile back. Buncha liberals talking about how the economy in San Diego wasn't all bad... we were getting: A New Aircraft Carrier Camp Pendleton was on a construction binge employing 5000 - 1000 people. We have a new Luxury Condo downtown for single military people. That's just the start of it. Lotsa money pouring into the San Diego economy... or what's left of it. Yup, the peaceniks were glowing about all OUR pork. Just like everyone is against profligate spending UNLESS it is THEIR pork. Too bad we can't build TVs or cars like we do tanks or predators or or or
