A Classic Buzzer Beater on the Right Coast ... One for the ages that will be replayed in video for years, captured in still photo. Speedy Scottie Reynolds beats Big Butt Blair and company to break a 76-76 tie after the Panthers knot it and the Wildcats inbound at the far end with 5 seconds remaining, allowing Villanova to crash the top seeds' Final Four party. Fifteen lead changes, 10 ties, nearly all of them in the second half. Great team basketball, and superb guard play. Almost a shame either team had to lose. Not the near perfection that Cinderfella Villanova as an 8 seed displayed in the second half 24 years ago when it brought down Mighty Georgetown to take the '85 NCAA Crown, but an NCAA Hoops Classic none the less. A Louisville win tonight over Michigan State would put 3 Big BEasties -- 3 teams from any single conference -- in the Final Four for the 1st time since then.
