The only time I ever saw we liberals go to far to the left was when we were experimenting with the Great society. We corrected back from there. But we needed a labratory experiment as it had never been tried and we are still experimenting with social programs. This is all brand new for our species. The problems are medicade and the capitalists power grab. What I keep trying to convince the middle is that the liberal's ideas are not radical, just new, edge of knowledge social science. Obama is trying to explain that to people e.g. his insistance on universal health care. Only way you can fix medicade and bussiness health care costs. I do not try to explain anything to the right wing-lol.
