Agreed, especially about punishing - not rewarding - the culprits. But just by saving the banks, we're rewarding them for failure - nobody wants another LEH. So we just break them into smaller pieces. Derivatives? We don't know the truth, and they're not telling us. Makes you think maybe it's so bad they can't tell us. Should GM and Chrysler be allowed to fail? In the middle of the crisis? Debt problems, entitlement programs, taxes? Quite a mess... --- Talking economics...
