One of the new entrants into the field that I am watching closely is FTEL (http://www.ftel.com). They have a very active thread on SI also and you should be able to find some good information there.

The product they have right now in the IP field is a gateway called the Tempest. This gateway, in combination with some of their other products like the channel-banks etc should make for a competitive entry. The price for the stock rose very fast and then faltered at 10. It is puttering around 7 right now but should move up quickly if their demos impress enough people. They are going to demo their product on 10/27 and should also be available at some of the CT shows coming up. With a little good press, they should be off to the races.

Some questions I have, have to do with their financial strength and their marketing strength when going up against the big guys already in the market. I think there are enough places at the table so little companies like FTEL should find a niche. And if they actually succeed, this could be another DLGC, NMSS etc.

Good luck, and good investing,

-Atin
