Once upon a time, I was a happy Lombard customer. They've really gone downhill in the past six months, though. Their web access has been inconsistent, I've had bad executions, I've had them not honor a check, I've had consistently slow executions, and I've not received market representation. I talked with a number of managers there, explained the problems, got runarounds, and after several months of "giving them another chance" I switched all my stocks to Datek. I've been extremely happy there. The only thing I still have at Lombard is options, which Datek doesn't currently handle.

The web site mentioned a few messages ago by FBarron (thanks!) compares the discount brokerage firms. One of the things I noticed on the page was that Pacific appeared to be the best brokerage for options. $1.75 per contract with a $15 minimum. I might have to give them a call.
