Ask Letterman to retract his jokes.

The joke's on me. No extra charge.

Take over gold production in the west?

I will bet you we could do it if we got together. But the chances of
attracting 20,000 investors who won't step in it if it's hot and fresh on the road in the summer are slim. Hell half of them will be spreading the stuff on sandwiches if their broker calls them up.

But you are too interested in calling me on one small detail, the overexaggeration of one mining company's potential.

Don't fall in love too easy. Many girls (companies)are just like the average male. (investor) Damned little golddiggers and sleazy. (whores).

I know guys who used to line up at the charnel houses to fall in love.
Like Pepe la Pew with a painted cat. You could not talk them out of
their lady's fatal charm.

My syndicate is not a promotion. We intend to develop gold and diamond mines. Small ones at first. 100 to 300 tons a day. We need about 8 million for each project. Ore is already proven in many cases. No Bre-X's, no magnificent fields of gold as far as the eye can see. Just small workaday high grade veins that will take mining with conventional methods. There are over 200 such situations in Ontario and worldwide.

I started to enumerate them to a guy once on the phone and 15 minutes later I was still reeling them off.

Mason Coggins. I am not saying his work was pervasive and beyond reproach. I am too realistic to think that all gov't geos are interested in finding a mine. But he was adamant that the material
was barren. He is entitled to his opinion. I just wish he had tested Bre-X and said something. He can sample my claims any day of the week,
The Door is Open. If we disagree on assays I will invite him to try again, when I am sure I can get a good cut and split under supervision of course. Hell if I have gold mine I don't care if the Pope takes assays. If the gold is there it's there. By the way I have several. I
have had perhaps 50 gov't geos out on my properties and more companies. It's funny how when they took samples in my samples areas where I got kicks, THEY ALL GOT NUMBER TOO. For 20 years. Every property. Funny. Maybe I am just lucky.
