If it is such a great wine store, what in the world are they doing feeding you Quivara?

They tend to focus on wines made from organically grown grapes.

But I'll bite - what SB from California would you recommend instead that is in that price range, is available on the East Coast, and would compare favorably to a good French Pouilly Fume? Preferably organic, but I'm flexible.

And as long as I'm asking, do you have any thoughts on a better choice of Syrah? If you've got any that even come close to the Texier, I'm all ears.
