Trig, I could hardly wait to see the backside of Bush -- and I want Obama to do the right thing as badly as anybody in the world -- but I am not about to ignore the fact that he has set a course over a cliff instead of delivering the kind of change in direction of which we are in dire need. I love the guy - but on the little matter of HIS handling of the financial industry fiasco he is a tragic disappointment. He has very, very little time to set a new course -- and so far he seems incapable of doing so. Don't bore me to death with your partisan politics -- I am only interested in getting as close as possible to the unvarnished truth -- and Obama is heading for a disastrous train wreck on the economy so long as he finds himself unable to confront the stark reality of finding himself in bed with the bankers and doing nothing about it, other than to try to roll over and go back to sleep.
