Richard, You're now part of history. Gold fund managers are now using the term 'desert dirts', which I think you coined.

I am in Ca for the gold show at Anaheim. I asked James Turk about IPM and he said that Midas has more IPM than is known - some of it is an off-shore fund and is not reported. He also said that IPM is the only desert dirt co. that they own. On gold prices: he believes we are close to the bottom, but it could take considerable time to work higher. Turk is a really nice guy, is maning the Midas Fund booth and is giving a public presentation tomorrow, if you're in the L A area it would be worth your time to check it out. Hilton Towers near the Convention Center.

CL is here as were several other IPM stockholders. CL said to say Hi to everyone and that he's working on a post that he will put up after the IPM metals #'s release. He was hangiing out with some surfers South of Acapulco and left there 3 days before the big storm. I guess we can really call him CL Dude now - ha.

Jay Taylor gave an excellent presentation on his favorites -- IPM at the top of the list of course. He also likes GMDRF, NCW.V, ELD.T. His moon shot picks are ALTIF, EMW.A, ITRO, TTRIF. I asked Jay if he'd ever heard of E Charters -- drew a big blank on that one.
