Non-technology companies were affected as well, and not just in terms of their market cap. In revenues as well.

Explain.

Revenue on one side of P/L statement correspond to (mostly) labor costs, meaning paychecks, and tax witholdings from those paychecks.

What does that have to do with the dot.com bubble bursting?
