LERNOUT HAUSPIE:The [legal] case for the renewal of the SWEBF-Kurzweil Agreement.
November 1997 WINDOWS Magazine Front Cover Feature Talk to your PC New Software lets you kiss your keyboard goodbye pp. 9, 208-220.
This November 1997 front cover feature story is dominated by Alpha Software's Kurzweil's VoicePlus and VoicePad (We believe we have found the source of recent Alpha/Kurzweil sales as cited per previous post). Of equal significance, Alpha has taken out a full-page ad on page 194 of this same Windows Magazine issue for Kurzweil VoiceCommands "...Tell Microsoft Word What To Do...The 1st continuous speech command and control product...visit voice.alphasoftware.com to see Kurzweil VoiceCommands in action! Given this unprecedented critical mass and momentum established by Alpha Software's early risk, and now empirically corroborated superior implementation of said Kurzweil contract viz a viz SoftQuad US SEC 1996 Form 20-F, recently cited LHSPF Q3 97 'Kurzweil' numbers, Fiscal 1996 annual meeting proceedings, Kurzweil voice products promotional terms cited on retail.alphasoftware.com and said November issue of Windows Magazine, et al, it would be very dangerous for LHSPF not to renew said contract ref/ restraint of trade, unfair competition, etc.. not to mention potential alleged antitrust/RICO? problems Microsoft/LHSPF could face with DOJ, Reno, Nader, Reback et al in light of the recent Microsoft investment into LHSPF. We are confident this could be an unspecified damages claim approaching nine figures.
Accordingly, we urge all shareholders to get the November issue of Windows Magazine. Note: esecurities has attempted to contact Lernout Hauspie numerous times at multiple management levels and was advised we would hear from the CEO. This was over sixty (60) days ago wherein we have subsequently and repeatedly attempted to contact them. We have received no acknowledgement, to date, again, in spite of indications from L&H directly, otherwise. |
