Tito,
My son is a CADCAM trouble shooter and very knowledgable and respected in his field. He also will make sales related to the CADCAM field. He has told me several times how the field out there is converting to PC's and here is an excerpt from his latest letter;

"The pace at work never seems to let up -- guess I should be grateful it doesn't really fall off. The rate of new computers keeps speeding up too. IBM just announced a new Unix workstation computer earlier this month that is 45% faster than the one announced four months ago and price came DOWN $1,610 to about $22k. - we are turning more and more towards services........"
He related his profit margins for sales are down as the PC makers drop their prices. This accounts for his remark on service. If he had his way he would only do the trouble shooting work, but his company knows his customers respect him and sends him out to makes sales there also.......He dislikes sales...and to think his father was in sales for over 40 years (gr). Maybe that is why he doesn't like sales.He saw the hours etc I put in.

Kumar....I miss your posts. Come on back with us
