The WMD existed long before Obama came to office.

He's not Bush, not Wolfowitz, not Rumsfeld, and he certainly isn't Cheney.

Your comment suggests he's the same as them. Known facts don't support the conclusion: disagree.

Even the best minds aren't sure: Roubini, Bernanke, and more. If Volcker "doesn't know" what should be done - then I don't see how anyone here knows better.

It's a no-win situation: everybody's certain the other guy is wrong - but nobody can prove what's right.

In the middle of the greatest financial and economic crisis we've ever seen, perhaps Obama is being advised incorrectly. Interventionist economics sometimes offers counterintuitive solutions. Supporting the financial system during the crisis seems wrong. According to many here, it shouldn't be done. The financial system should be allowed to collapse.

This, they KNOW.

I don't know, and neither does Volcker. Bless his honesty.

We DO know (it's factually true) that if steps aren't taken immediately the US will drive straight into a brick wall. That' a certainty, and it existed LONG before Obama came to office.
