Speaking of his Dad, I have under my keyboard a press clipping from when UW went to the final four. It says:

"The coach misted up a few times Saturday. Reaching this moment was, he said "touching a dream." And then, as he so often will, he offered some perspective.

"When people say: 'Is this the greatest thing that's ever happened to you?' I guess from a feeling state, of euphoria, yes," Bennett said. "But it doesn't compare with children and grandchildren and faith and stuff like that. I would hope I would always have the sense to know what really matters and that enables me to enjoy what seems to matter, like this."

This journey goes on now, to Indianapolis and the Final Four.

"If you think that you can be competitive, then anything's possible," Bennett said. "That's where we are now."

And that is a very fine place to be.

I love coaches that put things in perspective and try to teach the right way to live and be. Bennett did that. I think, from what I have seen of Buzz this year, that he does the same. Life lessons are more important than basketball lessons.
