Elmer is holding his breath waiting for Intel to prove that these contracts (that don't exist) are all the product of a rogue employee and were in no way sanctioned by Intel Upper Management.

Of course contracts exist and perhaps it would be helpful to wait until we see if there is a crime before we try explaining it.

AMD has done everything except cavity search their best customers but no one has corroborated their story. Wouldn't you think one of those frightened battered customers would grab this opportunity to break those Intel chains? Instead we have this from Toshiba:

AMD now seeks to require Toshiba to conduct duplicative searches because AMD has failed to unearth the smoking gun it desperately seeks from Toshiba and the dozens of other customers it has attempted to subpoena.

With customers like this who needs enemies?
