re: screeing... if you're an AAII member, the most recent issue of Computer Investing has an excellent comparison of stock screening tools including Prosearch, Value Line, AAII Stock Investor, etc.
re: feed... for historical data source, any of those mentioned here on SI should serve your need (e.g. TC2000, QP, Telescan, etc.). If it's really a data feed you want, you have a choice among net providers (e.g. InterQuote, etc.) and non-net providers (e.g. Signal, DTN, etc. via cable, satelite, fm) either real time or delayed.
re: analysis... most you have listed will work just fine to the extent you take the time to understand them fully in the context of the TA you want to study. I'd suggest that OmniTrader can lead you into traps without a strong supporting base of TA to build upon. I found TIP too clunky and restrictive for my taste, but there are many making $$$ with it. TradeStation is tremendously powerful and requires some talent as a programmer no matter what their advertising says. It's all in learning to use the tools to your best advantage. There are also Supercharts, WaveWi$e, Investograph, TechniFilter Plus (a favorite of mine), LiveWire Pro and many more.
It's best to ask yourself what it is you want to do with the analysis s/w including whether or not you want to use custom indicators, custom trading systems, special trade entry criteria (e.g. buy or sell at a specific price), do system tests, do daily scans, etc. Then see which of these best suit your particular use. Some have demo packages, some have trial offers including TradeStation, AIQ and TechniFilter Plus.
