FPG, > What's your explanation for the big influx of OEM support, eventually culminating with Dell, after AMD's lawsuit was launched?

AMD's Opteron was released in 2003 but it took a while to get adopted because the server market is slower to adapt than desktops and laptops.

AMD of course blamed Intel for said slowness and thus made it a major part of their lawsuit. Of course by then the barriers to entry for Opteron were just being overcome and OEM support started taking off.

AMD in their usual bravado affirms the consequent and guys like you swallow it hook, line, and sinker. No proof, just "If A, then B. B, therefore A."
