"Romans" aren't much of a threat these days LOL.. if you say so .. seems the new Romans are in a bit of a sticky wicket so yes... their relevance will diminish ;o) Civilised of course on a relative basis Mq.. I think you somehow view norals as the same ? Hence compared to today of course nothing was as civilised as western civilsation is today.. Today we have Reality tv, massive porn industry, Paris Hilton is an 'A' list celebrity.. and millions of people that care about these things :O) I think we have arrived.. I stand corrected ... as I look down from the acme at the rest of the world :O) BTW in the other post about re: compliance with social norms.. I wonder how you would classify the PC mentality (politically correct) virus running through the West .. Many things seem to be 'bad form' these days and not in compliance.. :O) TBS
