AMD's Opteron was released in 2003 but it took a while to get adopted because the server market is slower to adapt than desktops and laptops.
LOL, "took a while to get adopted." Surprisingly soft characterization of AMD's performance during this time, especially for you, Elmer.
Explain the major losses of OEM support just as Hammer came out.
AMD of course blamed Intel for said slowness and thus made it a major part of their lawsuit. Of course by then the barriers to entry for Opteron were just being overcome and OEM support started taking off.
Sure, Elmer. It always takes two years for revolutionary new architectures, promising significant performance and feature enhancements, to gain traction. Just ask Intel!
AMD in their usual bravado affirms the consequent and guys like you swallow it hook, line, and sinker. No proof, just "If A, then B. B, therefore A."
You wouldn't know a logical fallacy if it bit you on the ass, Elmer.
And note how I'm not accusing Intel of anything here... The fabrications, omissions, and deceit contained within your own arguments are enough to destroy them from within.
