Bexar et all, here is a little blurb about @Home I just ran across. They are expanding rapidly,and people want @Home over Road Runner. Their setup is much,much more efficient that Road Runner,and has a dedicated IP address.
@Home Reports 26,000 Subscribers As part of @Home's third quarter report, the company indicated the service currently has 26,000 subscribers from the U.S. and Canadian markets that it serves. @Home passes more than 2.7 million homes. In the U.S., the services is offered in 16 markets. @Home home.net Cablevision Deal With @Home Undermines Previous Agreement with Road Runner Before Cablevision signed an agreement with @Home to exclusively carry the service, the MSO had already signed a deal with Road Runner, licensing nationally-based content to use within its own Optimum Online content package. Executives from Cablevision are still unsure how they can and will handle access issues regarding Road Runner content. Initially, a Cablevision executive reported that the @Home agreement would still allow the MSO to carry Road Runner. Is a lawsuit brewing?
