It is starting to get pretty crazy. Yes it is. My City upped the sales tax, gas tax, sewer tax, water usage tax, and Real estate tax in 2008. I am waiting for the 110 Million New High School assessment to my property taxes. Oh the joy. It is like they are going to tax us into prosperity. I guess spending cuts are a four letter word. Cigarettes are $9.50 a pack in Chicago.
