Do you mean to say that Paris Hilton, reality tv and porn are significant cultural aspects of your life or of people you know? They are significant to others and hence significant to me as a nuisance factor.. as in having to hear folks 'Did you hear about'.. Or listening to the news and trying to listen for something meaningful while driving... but there is a lot of just noise.. before the meat..

Sadly even in China Paris Hilton was big news in 2007.. .. Maybe PRC has been successfully drugged again after all ;O)

I have played a lot of golf in my time, but Well I find it terribly dull... I prefer the snow park and jumps and doing stuff I'm not supposed to do at my age :O) or a good hike.. but I bet it's a lot better for your body and mind than the other items.. Somehow I think that healthy folks produce a better culture :O) Maybe you don't agree ?

I heard a Brit in the government today being interviewed on BNN.. Apparently the entire financial crisis is the fault of all those countries in surplus.. They should join the West in the drugged out debt party and all would be well.. The are forcing westerners to buy their good.. a travesty ... Same old crappola.. capitalism is great when the west gets to screw the other guys LOL
