Z, Yeah yeah yeah... Only in the purest sense. But nothing in the world really works that way, because industries don't exist in a vacuum. Obama is trying to save a significant part of the capitalist system (in the wrong way, I think). In general, rather than letting technocrats tinker with individual companies, individual industries, or even with individuals, government's role should be the opposite: creating level playing field, easy to follow transparent rules applying equally to everyone. While Obama has not started this level of tinkering, he has embraced it, and it may end up consuming him. Joe
