Who said death... I've always been very clear that (IMO) the US will not go away or become inconsequential.. and likely they'll keep more relative import than Britain has.. China take over ? Naw.. never said that either.. just get a fair voice .. The cultural norm was actually virtuous. It was a lie.. in truth IMVHO it was an abomination.. Work houses... debtors`s prisons.. rampant prostitution.. horrible working conditions no better than slavery.. Mq.. That dog don`t hunt.. you do yourself an injustice.. reality never came close to truth.. perpetuated by the fact that the victor gets to write most of the history.. TJ thinks the future lies with bare bum Aztecs prancing around a camp fire clutching their little gold totems'. Mq you listen to the jabs only.. and blind yourself.. what about being willing to sell into the mania.. He has said that also... not the same as keeping some for perpetual insurance.. The world being what it is.. As for Qualcomm and tech.. does anyone on this thread literally luxuriate in the technology they use as much as TJ.. I think not.. sometimes his descriptions are almost orgasmic LOL but Mq.. those things are tools... not culture.. they can advance culture... but they are not culture.. Ooops I almost forgot.. number 1 @ exporting pop culture exporting debt exporting war as business incurring debt.. per capital usage of world resources biggest financial meltdowns biggest scams etc etc etc.. One is the loneliest number.. Two can be as bad as one it's the loneliest number since the number one.. 3DogNight :O) TBS EDIT: The US will come out the other side hopefully a little wiser.. and having to share a lot more... but sure they'll come out... They do have a lot of redeeming qualities.. just the pedestal is unwarranted..
