This has enabled us to make a successful launch of our first native quad core CPU, our Barcelona. We and our core customers extensively confirmed this new micro-architecture prior to its launch - which enabled us at AMD to gain significant market share and customer kudos with our wildly successful - and validated - Barcelona, the first native quad core x86-64 CPU.
