OK, taxi, I overlooked your first use of racist terminology a few days ago but here you are using it again. In case you havn't heard, the use of the term "raghead" is considered by most thoughtful people to be an offensive stereotype used by ignorant people to describe people of Arab and/or Muslim origin. Yes, taxi, it is an ethnic slur that most people in this country have stopped using...it came into use during the Iran hostage crisis and the oil crisis...a long time ago. I'm a New Yorker , taxi, so I'm familiar with racist terminology in that town: "raghead"="spic"="kike"="nigger"="gook"="chinks"="japs"="guinea", etc. Why don't you tell us how many of those terms are part of your everyday vocabulary, taxi? You are reprehensible!! Now, just a word about your tiresome posts. They teach me nothing when I bother to read them. Normally, I would not engage in name-calling. It's not good for the integrity of the board which does happen to have some interesting contributors (even the ones that I might disagree with). However, in your case I am going to make an exception. Simply put, you are an ignorant, racist who has demonstrated time and again that he has precious little to contribute to our understanding of AIPN while at the same time championing himself as some sort of "blue-collar hero". I know quite a few blue-collar guys in NYC who would never use the ethnic slurs that you seem comfortable with. In fact, I would think that some of your own drivers might be offended by your use of the term "raghead"..assuming that they understood how that term has come to be used in our culture. Go hide under a rock! To everyone else, I apologize for this distraction from the business at hand. The coming week should be very interesting. Here are some dots that I've connected recently. Lorrie Olivier , AIPN's VP of International Development and the guy who put together the Kazakhstan deal, was admitted to a hospital in Houston last week for a battery of tests. He is apparently ok but my guess is that his doctors probably would have advised him to stay put for awhile. Nevertheless, I understand that he is leaving for Almaty this week. I know he travels there often but I had to wonder why he needed to go so soon after having had medical problems. Couldn't a routine trip have been posponed? I believe that Olivier is going to Almaty in connection with the signing of the Production Agreement by the President of Kazakhstan and I would not be surprised if George were accompanying him. Therefor, I think we are leading up to an announcement in the latter part of the week. As I and others have said in the past, this Production Agreement with the Kazak government is the single most important document in this deal. None of what we have been discussing for months can happen WITHOUT that contract. It basicly says to MSUP, any potential JV partner (s), and potential investors in AIPN that "it's OK to take oil out of our country as long as you pay X mount in royalties and X tax rate". Once that agreement is in the can the flashing yellow light will change to green and a whole lot of other things will begin to fall into place very quickly. My hope is that the stock will start trading up in front of this anticipated news....something tells me it will.
Cheers...Faris |
