Skeets, at last an analyst's opinion without the usual bull spin.

"Nomura said it cut its rating on shares of GATEWAY 2000 INC to
neutral from buy after the company reported a net loss of $0.68
per share for its 3Q. Analyst Daniel Ries said lone bright spot in
Gateway's results were revenues, which rose 25.1% to just over
$1.5 billion. Reduced 1998 estimate to $2.00 from $2.18 a share.
While Gateway continues to gain market share by growing at nearly
twice the market's average rate, it seems to have lost ability to
grow and also deliver operating margins in 6% to 7% range. Ries
said was particularly concerned by impact of lower average sales
prices on company's margins. (Reuters 02:41 PM ET 10/24/97)"
