I was speaking in general. Up until Jozef's complaints, I thought the subway system was running fairly well. But to me, NYC is only a few steps from falling apart. Its like the water pipes that come down from the Catskills leak as much water as NYC drinks in a day. I know they're being replaced but they should have been replaced a decade ago. And don't get me started on the sewer system.......a disaster waiting to happen. That's the kind of inefficiency to which I am referring.

You have to remember too, I mostly grew up in MPLS where you could eat off the streets. Big German immigrant population.....everything is well maintained....runs very well, or at least it used to run well......I don't know what's its doing now.
