Actually, had you clicked back through the conversation you'd see the context was FDR and our recovery from the GD.

I pointed out that it's ridiculous to say FDR made the economy worse when you consider in 1936 he was reelected in an historic landslide, and then reelected two more times after that.

Some brainless poster said FDR made people feel good because of radios and that's why he was elected four times even though he made the economy worse.

I pointed out the S&P had doubled during FDR's first year and quadrupled during his first term, that that would've made me feel good, bringing it back to the economy, which was after all the subject.

And then you jumped in with your usual nonsense.

Anyway, party on...
