Now that you mention it, I did read that the stop price was the 13-week moving average price, and the sell signal is just the price falling below that stop. I got the impression that the buy signal was based on someting in addition to the moving average, but I could be mistaken.

I've been a buy-and-holder for a number of years and think VectorVest can help improve my stock picking for the long term. I'm trying to learn more about TA so I can improve my short-term decision making.

Is there any way to bring VV's daily price data into a program like MetaStock for analysis? I know I'll need another source for history, but wondering if it could be kept updated with VV data?
