Of course, it doesn't have to be official policy. It could just be ingrained in the corporate culture. Subtle, secretive (of course), systematic abuse of monopoly power. It could also be mindbeams. Isn't that why you guys wear those tin foil hats, to deflect those Intel mind beams which fill your head with voices and impure thoughts? true to form, you changed the subject away from the topic of the possibility of Intel wielding monopoly power That wasn't the topic but I'll indulge you seeing as it seems to be so important to you. I am in no way a legal expert, self anointed or otherwise, but I think it is very likely that Intel wields monopoly power, at least as defined in most jurisdictions. Being a Monopoly isn't illegal, except maybe in the EU, we'll see. I also think that in all likelihood, Intel has conducted itself as if it is a Monopoly and avoided anything that would be illegal under those conditions. Historically Intel has needed AMD around to defray scrutiny but they may be becoming too much of a pain in the *ss to prop up much longer.
