Who needs jobs anyway, right. The federal budget in 2009 equals 10 thousand dollars for every US citizen with much of it printed out of thin air. Money of that kind can fuel markets for a long time.
The bill will be paid later, through debt, or sales of then apprechiated stock. Someone called it the geithner gambit.

(To clarify: By "recovery" I didn´t mean a prolonged market bounce, but rather a recovery of the manufacturing and services parts of the economy).
