After 2 years of strenuous exercise which yielded little control over my waist I think this routine has given me some more control.

You are losing your "wheat belly." Congrats!

I found, when quitting smoking and booze many years ago, that the old "Skinner Box" theory was true. The easiest way to eliminate a habit, such as eating wheat, sugar, corn potatoes and rice, is to "zero" them out. If you cut down, your subconscious does a number on you for a longer time.

On sugar, Splenda has been my salvation. Berries only for fruit. Bananas, oranges, apples etc, are very high in sugar. As are most prepared foods. The 300 size cans of S&W Kidney beans I bought from Costco in "8-packs" have three and one half teaspoons of sugar in them.
