[GTE-Clec-ADSL] Srvhap... << where did you see that GTE was combining CLEC/ADSL in one announcement which is now delayed...>> I heard it a while ago from a source at GTE. The plans were for their CLEC organization to sell ADSL services. If you think about it...ADSL would be a strategic weapon as they enter RBOC areas. It makes sense The CLEC would even (after "x" amount of time) sell in existing GTE areas. Remember, the reason the CLEC sells ADSL..is so that don't have to re-sell the service to the LD carriers who want to enter their turf.This is why they formed the CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier) in the first place.
