Reading the label on Bush's black beans I dont see any sugar and I dont think it tastes sweetened, like baked beans.

My order of food priorities are:

Eat food in most natural state;

tuna, salmon, chicken breast are primary meats, occasional beef and pork,

Lots of vegetables, mostly broccoli, green beans, peas, carrots, etc.

brown rice and black beans, moderate portions and reduce these if my weight is rising,

oat bran, ground flaxseed and egg for breakfast,

EV olive oil wherever I can put it.

Almonds for snacks but no chips or pretzels,

Scotch and wine,

Avoid cake and ice cream except for rare occasions.

Lets see where this takes me. Being able to reduce weight without giving up much that I care for would be great. I dont mind the exercise to burn off some of the calories I put on with the rice and beans.
