>Why should fixing levees and bridges be an "economic stimulus"? That should be basic services provided by our tax money. Not a political chip to play when you need to justify a "stimulus" bill. It's not a political chip. The biggest part of the stimulus has to be creating jobs for people. It's best if those jobs are doing things that not only are actually productive (not just digging holes and filling them in again) but that improve the country. -Z
