You see the ink data in chart Fig 2? That is cannibalization of the data that is already going on wire.

As you can see it is all pointing down. No wonder operators are very worried and trying to sensiblize regulators for more spectrum.

The glamour and exciting (not to mention fat profits) are all gone. Now it is time to put mobile chip badge and cows and pigs and treat telecoms like water and sewage. Just another public service available everywhere.
