Re -- Do you really think that liquidity and demographics will continue to drive stock prices up next year if earnings fall short next year?

Who's talking about next year. Demographics, information age etc.. are long term trends.

Re -- Or perhaps you believe that Intel's stock price, now down 22% from its peak, is still in an uptrend?

Yup, Intel is in a 10 year uptrend.
