If this is correct, then apparently the 30 year stand-off between the USA and Iran may soon be over, and Iran will emerge victorious. They stood up against the US - and held their ground - and for that they will be rewarded with a strategic partnership. Not only will the Iranian bosses become a nuclear power, but they'll also be key players in the ME (including Iraq), as well as in "AfgPak".
