Gary,

Sounds to me like you're more a candidate for SuperCharts. Basically does same thing as TradeStation (both by Omega) except that it's end-of -day and does not have the Power Editor. Rather, SC employs the Quick Editor which is more than adequate for most. SuperCharts cost is around $240 versus $2400 for TradeStation. If you need real-time consider SuperCharts RT (about $800). Only people that need TS IMHO are those desiring extensive testing and custom formula capabilities.

I've used TradeStation for several years as well as numerous other programs. These include TC2000, MetaStock, OmniTrader, LiveWire, Advanced GET, AIQ and TechniFilter Plus. Each has its strengths and weaknesses.

Hope this is helpful.

Bill
