If you know the precise location maybe you can check to see if it's still there... maps.google.com P.S. My grandfather was homesteading wheat land in northern Montana around the time of your family threshing picture. He got title to his 240 acres in 1916, and I can easily spot his tract on Google's satellite map because of the field's distinct shape.
