Today GGR jumped 54% but it is still down 8.8% YTD.

I've owned this for years and love to trade its volatility. It is one of my more profitable stocks to trade around a core position. I added shares on the recent decline that are now in the green, but I didn't get as close to the bottom as I would have liked... but who does?

I look at it as an investment in the emerging markets but with US and Canadian accounting rules. It is also a pretty pure natural gas play as they have some major NG discoveries but they have not gotten "official" approval of the exact level of their reserves.

GeoGlobal Resources Inc. (GGR) At 4:00PM ET: $1.46 Up 0.51 (53.68%)

Warning. I bought a lot of this before its run to the teens as a hdege for higher energy prices. I eventually sold a ton because they were years from actually delivering the NG they discovered. It turns out to have been a good move. I pulled enough out to buy a hybrid Lexus or pay for my energy needs for a very, very long time. I still have some shares, have added recently and will probably add more shares if I can sell some in the rips and then repurchase in the declines, after it turns to confirmed bull market mode... which may have started today.... or it could be a dead cat bounce.
